Whoop whoop. To celebrate the European launch of Daybreak on the fabulous Songs & Whispers label, we’re off to the Deutschland on the 16th July with The Black Maria Memorial Fund.
1 car, 2 bands, 5 people, 9 instruments, 21 days, 44 events. Can’t wait.

Songs & Whispers to release Daybreak in Germany

We’re very pleased to announce that independent label and promoter Songs & Whispers (www.songsandwhispers.de) will release Daybreak in Europe his summer. We’ll be touring for three weeks through Germany and Holland to support the launch, with more details to follow. Nice.

Ahem, due to technical issues (idiocy on my part) I’d meant to blog this on Tuesday, but only just worked out how to do it…
Germany was tour off with a bang last night at Big Batinsky in Osnabrück – a grand total of 4 encores on our first night, which made the 5am start and 10 hour journey all worth while. We’re just a trio on this – had to leave everyone else at home. A keyboard, double bass and full drum kit in the car doesn’t leave all that much room for musicians…
Just sitting backstage at the Lux in Bremen, listening to Someday Jacob’s set. Should have footage of them / us up in the next couple of days – not got this multi-media kafuffle sussed yet…

Happily, I had forgotten all my aspirations,
But now, a hare for jugging, they come flooding back to fill my lungs. Oh…
It’s out now with the hand bells, we’ll play a quarter peal,
